My Review
I love Max Lucado’s books, and this one is no exception! It is a great little devotional, each being 2 pages long. It is broken down into 7 sections which are: Loved with a Steadfast Love; Loved with a Perfect Love; Loved with a Wise Love; Loved with Merciful Love, Loved to Love Others, and then there a section for Notes and Sources. Each section has wonderful devotions in all of the ways we are Loved by God. As I was reading through it, I was comforted with each lesson I read. They are all very good. One thing though, each is taken from other books the author has written. Those books are: Every Day Deserves a Chance; It’s Not About Me; Facing your Giants; Fearless; Outlive Your Life; and 3:16:Numbers. If you have these books, you may not want this one, though I do like the way all of the lessons on Love are together. And if you’ve never read any of Max Lucado’s writings, then this would be a good start for you to get a feel of his style of writing and the great way he teaches us about our Lord.
I would recommend this book to anyone. It would be great when you only have a short amount of time and want a little Bible study refresher to help get you through the rest of your day!
