Book DescriptionLearn with Lily and her friends just what it means to be beautiful in God’s eyes—inside and out!
In a society so focused on the idea that external beauty reigns supreme, it can be difficult for young girls to figure out what “true” beauty is all about. This unique and creative book for girls ages 7–11 answers the common questions girls ask during this often confusing and overwhelming stage in their lives in an inviting and conversational manner.
Filled with fun quizzes, imaginative activities, and cool illustrations, The Beauty Book offers cool, relevant information about everything from great hair styles to tattoos, from skin care to clothes, and much more. Above all, the message that God-confidence is beautiful is highlighted on each and every page.
MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
In her book The Beauty Book, Nance Rue teaches young girls how take care of themselves in a unique way. She teaches them how to do what is needed to look their best, but to also be themselves. Each chapter deals with different issues, and I love the way the chapters are set up as well. And my young niece loves this book! It was my gift to her after I reviewed it!
I highly recommend that mothers of young pre-teen girls to invest in this book. You can not go wrong, and your young lady will thank you for giving them the gift of this book.
