The Crossing by Serita Jakes

The Crossing by Serita Jakes

Claudia's best friend was murdered 10 years ago and the case was never solved. Claudia's lawyer husband Victor Campbell decides to open the case back up and try to solve it because of the problems his wife still has about the murder. He wants the case put to rest forever, to end it. This causes a lot of hurt, heartache, and dug out mysteries and secrets hidden for so many years it caused a lot of difficulties in relationships.

I enjoyed this suspense/thriller from Serita Jakes, however it was not a light and easy book to read. Some of the findings and end results were difficult to read about, but the suspense kept you wanting to read until the very end. The only thing I didn't really understand was the ending. It just didn't end right for me, some of the situations seems like they were just thrown in there. And a more exciting ending would have made it a really awesome thriller. Still, overall it is a good book to read, and especially if you like suspense/thriller books.
