MY REVIEW
Four really good books by four awesome authors! One thing I enjoy about these four in one books is that they are short, and each story can be read in one setting! Or if you don't have a lot of time to read, this would be an awesome book for you.
And these are four heartwarming stories about four Amish pregnant women, each having their own struggles. You will sure fall in love with each of these characters, wanting to read more about their families and their new babies! Bottom line, when the stories are Amish, and the author is one of the above authors, its a win-win read!

My Review
Middlebury Amish Artisan Village is in a tailspin because someone was murdered in this little Amish community, and finding out whodunit may not be that easy. But Amber Wright and Hannah Troyer are going to try their best to find out the criminal, to keep Middlebury Amish Artisan Village calm and in order.  But who can stay calm where there has been a murder?
Vannetta Chapman is one of my very favorite authors, and I am really enjoying this new series! I love that she takes a quite little Amish community and stirs up trouble, making the story an Amish tale with a twist! As I read this book, the characters started feeling like friends and family, and I really wanted to find out who left this body in the beautiful fall leaves of this community. Ms. Chapman keeps you in suspense and for me, that means keeping my nose in the book until the very last page! You do not want to miss this exciting new series from author Vannetta Chapman, and while you are checking out Murder Tightly Knit, don’t forget to check out the first book, Murdered Simply Brewed!

A Woodland Miracle by Ruth Reid

A Woodland Miracle

by Ruth Reid

Book Description

Grace feels like she can't measure up to those around her, and Ben could use a good dose of humility.

In their small northern Michigan district, where women outnumber men three to one, Grace doesn't believe she will ever attract a husband, especially with her limp. Tired of struggling both emotionally and physically, Grace is ready to see the specialist in Ohio, even if it means going against everything she's heard about God's grace being sufficient.

Ben Eicher is a young man from Pinecraft, Florida, whose carefree ways have caused him to lose his father's respect-again. According to Ben, though, life shouldn't be so serious that it suffocates all the fun. When he is sent to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to get his life back on track, he never thought it would mean working alongside a woman-especially a hardworking one like Grace. The last thing Grace wants is another friendship with a man who pities her.

Meanwhile, the Amish community becomes entangled with two potentially dangerous men on the run. When Ben discovers Grace has been kidnapped, he sets out to find the woman who has captured his heart and risks his own life when he attempts to lure the captors away.

Grace must learn that God's love is sufficient, and Ben is left to ponder whether he belongs back in Florida, or in the northern woods-with Grace.

About the Author

Ruth Reid is a CBA and ECPA best-selling author of the Heaven on Earth series. She's a full-time pharmacist who resides in Florida with her husband and three children.

My Review

Grace is single, and she plans to stay that way because the women outnumber the men so much, there is just not enough guys to go around! But then two handsome unknown guys show up on Grace's family doorstep, and well, could this change things for Grace? After all she does have a disability that she is not willing to talk about to strangers.  But then Ben was something different to look at!

I like the way Ms. Reid puts two guys from a somewhat liberal Amish community in Florida in the middle of a small northern Michigan district, in the forest. Way back in the sticks. They were for sure not use to working as hard as their Amish Michigan friends, but they wouldn't let anyone think they wouldn't up for the task.

They story line got a little weird with the two dangerous guys and the man hunt with Grace and Ben. At first, it was pretty entertaining, but then as the chase kept going on, and on, and on, I really got bored and there was a lot of fast reading to skim over it. All in all, it ended up with a good ending, so I am glad I read it.
