My Review
Faith Cathwell is what I would call a determined woman. As she did her job as a nurse in the Civil War, she was really looking for her kidnaped and freed friend who was a woman of color. Which was a very dangerous situation for anyone, much less a woman. Faith did ask for help from Cournal Devlin Knight and the two of them determine to find Shiloh, as dangerous as it may be.
This book is a journey of struggles and difficulties and Faith and Delvin continue to find Shiloh. I did enjoy these two character and the rest of the cast in this book. At the story unfolds, I enjoyed seeing the characters come to life more and grow into people that were believable and like real. Lyn Coye does her job well as she combines the lives of these two, and writes a story of love and forgiveness. And even though Faith and Devlin were looking for a friend, they found more than they ever though they would find. Read this book to find out the ending of their story.
