My Review:
Max Lucado’s newest book, Max on Life is a book complied of answers and insights to the most important questions the author has been ask during his ministry. It is broken down into 7 different sections. These sections are: Hope; Hurt; Help; Him/Her; Home; Haves/Have-Nots; Hereafter. Some of the topics he covers is: How can I trust that God is powerful enough to take care of me; What can I tell the parents of a seven year old boy that died?; I was born to worry, What advise can you give us fretters about worrying? There are so many more topics he deals with, lots and lots of questions people ask everyday.And this is just a tip of the iceberg. Just a teaser to let you know what you will have if you purchase this book. Some of the questions did pertain to me, but in general, the book was wisely written. I feel the author carefully chose the questions that would benefit the most people reading the book. And some of the questions will be a help to everyone. This is a great reference book to have on your shelves. We all need books that we can flip through for answers to questions from time to time. This is one of those books. Max Lucado is one of my favorite authors. I love is writings; they are easy to read and understand, yet a very helpful tool to help us in our daily lives as we live for Christ. I would recommend Max on Life to everyone!
