MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BIBLE

First of all, if you are a Homecoming fan, this Bible is a must for you. This copy Gaither Homecoming Bible is in the New King James Version of the Bible. It is hardcover with a beautiful fall color picture on the front. And the color is not limited to the cover; there are color pictures throughout the Bible, all in gold, brown and green fall like colors. And there are pictures of the Homecoming gang included as well. This is sure a beautiful Bible for your home.

 

Some of the features of this Bible are unique to the Homecoming friends. These features include, Gloria Gaither explaining the inspiration for twenty-five Gaither songs, Stories behind fifty popular hymns and songs, devotions and articles by many of the Homecoming friends, Scripture and devotions by Gloria Gaither, Quotes from many great men and women of faith, Original poems by Gloria Gaither and Five articles by Gloria Gaither on the significance of music throughout the Bible and in our everyday lives.

 

Overall I really like this new Bible and think it will make a wonderful addition to your Bible collection. Though it is not really a study Bible, the many devotions, articles, poems, and songs throughout this Bible will encourage you as you read God’s Word.

 

I highly recommend this Homecoming Bible. If nothing else, it is just so beautiful, and we can never have too many copies of the Bible. And when you pick you copy, make sure you read it every day.
