MY REVEIW
It has been a long time since Jessie McBride has been back home to Alabama, but she finally here, and her life is stable and just the way she wants it to be. Her daughter Evan is nearing that high school age, and her mom Gus is just the same old mom, and Jessie is happy to be close to her again. But then two men makes their way to Alabama, and Jessie has trouble making up her mind of what she wants anymore. She's had one man to cheat on her and walk out. Can she trust another? And which man is the best for her? Jessie has some difficult decisions to make.

Author Lauren Denton keeps growing on me. Each book I read of hers is better than the last one. The characters are skillfully created and they develop well as the story progresses. I liked the spunky mom, Gus, she was quite fun and funny at times. Jessie has been through more than she needed, and it is tough for her to decided what to do about another relationship. There is a lot of tension in this book, and at times you can almost feel what the character is feeling. This is the expert writing of the author.

I thought the garden shop that Jessie started was a good choice for her, and she was able to make new friendships faster with the people coming in her store, something she really needed. With Jessie, her daughter and mom, plus the two interesting men, makes for a lot if interesting happenings in this story. But nothing else from me about this book. The rest is what you need to find out for yourself.
